Fresh look Illuminate is giving 40,000  pairs of lens FOC. While stock last.
Now from the site, is already hit 33,000..Hurry while stock lasts..

How to wear contact lens in correct manner?
Most people who wear contact lenses do so to correct their vision and have few problems with them. If your eyes become irritated while wearing or after wearing contact lenses, you may have an allergy to the cleaning or soaking solutions. To prevent potentially serious eye infections, use strict hygiene when cleaning non-disposable lenses, and never moisten contact lenses with saliva. If not treated promptly, an infection may result in permanent damage to your vision. If you wear contact lenses, always consult your pharmacist before using any over-the-counter eye drops because some may be incompatible with contact lenses.

Contact Lenses and you
• Wash hands with soap before touching your lenses; avoid soaps with eye-irritating lanolin.
• Mucus, tear proteins and environmental pollutants can build up on your lenses.
• Many doctors recommend that you disinfect all lens types daily with a heat, chemical, or hydrogen peroxide system. Use an enzymatic cleaner weekly to remove residue your daily cleaner missed.
• Always store your lenses clean; rinse your lens case and let it air dry.
• Buy small, instead of large, containers of lens care products; small containers are more quickly emptied and thus less likely to get contaminated.
• Apply eye make-up after putting your lenses in your eyes.
• Use hair sprays, perfumes, and spray deodorants in another room before you insert lenses.
• Check your eyes every morning for redness or unusual mucus at the edges; pain, watery eyes, sensitivity to light or blurry vision are signals to call the doctor.
• Remove lenses at once when your eyes become red or irritated; always carry your glasses with you.

Fernandes receives Nikkei Asia Prize

KUALA LUMPUR: AirAsia Group CEO Datuk Seri Tony Fernandes was awarded the prestigious Nikkei Asia Prize in Tokyo on Wednesday, May 19 for his contributions to the growth of Asia.

In a statement, AirAsia said the prize, given by leading Japanese newspaper publisher Nikkei Inc, recognised Fernandes' role in democratising travel in Asia.

"Under his leadership, AirAsia revolutionised the air travel industry in the region by pioneering the discount carrier phenomenon. As a result, air travel became widely accessible to people from all walks of life, boosting travel in the region," Nikkei said in the statement.

Fernandes is the only airline executive and the first Malaysian individual to be given the award since the launch of the annual Nikkei Asia Prize in 1996.

AirAsia said Nikkei also recognised Fernandes' "achievements in remaking the company into one of the most successful international airlines in Southeast Asia despite the recent economic slowdown of the airline industry.

"The award is a timely recognition for AirAsia, which is hoping to start Malaysia-Japan flights in 2010. AirAsia plans to make Kuala Lumpur the premier gateway to Asean for Japanese tourists. It is also hoping to offer low-fare flights to Japan to the 600-million strong Asean population," it said.

Fernandes said: "We're here to link more communities and to grow travel and tourism in Asia. We look forward to providing more links between the Asean region and the rest of Asia, including Japan.

"Links between countries play an integral part in strengthening Asia economically, socially and politically, and we are committed to helping achieve this."

AirAsia said with the slogan "Now everyone can fly" and in eight years, it had grown from an airline with two aircraft, one destination and 250 employees to an airline with 92 aircraft, about 70 destinations and a staff of 7,000.

It said the carrier was now regarded as the Asean airline, and was the largest and most successful low-cost airline in Asia.
